Prayer 20
~
Benevolent Lord,
commit me to a good angel,
who may deliver up my soul in peace,
and convey it undisturbed
through the malice of evil, to heavenly places.
Have mercy upon your creatures,
and on me, a manifold sinner.

I confess with faith and worship you, I worship the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the Law and in the Prophets (Acts 24,14). That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10,9). For it is written: “As I live, says the Lord, Every knee shall bow to Me, And every tongue shall confess to God” (Romans 14,11). Every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2,11). Let all the angels of God worship Him (Hebrews 1,6).
I bowed my head and worshiped the Lord, and blessed the Lord God (Genesis 24,48). Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name; Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness (Psalm 29,2). He is your Lord, worship Him (Psalm 45,11). All nations whom You have made shall come and worship before You, O Lord, And shall glorify Your name (Psalm 86,9). Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness! Tremble before Him, all the earth (Psalm 96,9). Give glory to the Lord God of Israel, and make confession to Him (Joshua 17,19). Now therefore, make confession to the Lord God of your fathers, and do His will (Ezra 10,11).
Father, Son and Holy Spirit, in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, (Matt 28,19)
uncreated and immortal Essence. Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen (1 Timothy 1,17).
creator of angels, humans and of all that exists. The everlasting God, the Lord, The Creator of the ends of the earth (Isaiah 40,28). I am the Lord, your Holy One, The Creator of Israel, your King (Isaiah 43,15).
Have mercy upon your creatures. Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David (Matt 15,22). Have mercy on us, O Lord, Son of David (Matt 20,30-31). Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me (Mark 10,47-48), (Luke 18,38-39). Jesus, Master, have mercy on us (Luke 17,13).
You in Your mercy have led forth the people whom You have redeemed (Exodus 15,13). Have mercy on me, and hear my prayer (Psalm 4,1). Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I am weak (Psalm 6,2). I have trusted in Your mercy (Pslam 13,5). Turn Yourself to me, and have mercy on me, for I am desolate and afflicted (Psalm 25,16). Have mercy upon me, and answer me (Psalm 27,7). Hear, O Lord, and have mercy on me; Lord, be my helper! (Psalm 30,10). Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I am in trouble (Psalm 31,9). Have mercy upon me, O God (Psalm 51,1). Oh, turn to me, and have mercy on me (Psalm 86,16).
Have mercy on us, O Lord, have mercy on us! For we are exceedingly filled with contempt (Psalm 123,3). To the Lord our God belong mercy and forgiveness (Daniel 9,9).
and on me, a manifold sinner. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3,23). I have sinned greatly in what I have done; but now, I pray, O Lord, take away the iniquity of Your servant (2 Samuel 24,10).
